The inhabitants of the May and the village of Azov (2-3 thousand people) are evacuated by buses, they are placed in schools of neighboring villages. Some of the inhabitants left on their own.
As a result of the explosions, the railway track in May was damaged. The route of trains on the Dzhanka -Feodosia branch was changed: passengers are planted at the Vladislavovka station.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that explosions in May were the result of sabotage. "The damage is caused to a number of civilian objects, including power lines, a power station, a railway track, as well as a number of residential buildings. There are seriously injured," the department said.
A senior Ukrainian source told The New York Times that an elite sabotage unit has been operating in Crimea.
