The FSB linked the bombing of Daria Dugina's car to the Right Sector

Natalya Vovk, who was named by the Russian special services as the perpetrator of blowing up the car of Alexander Dugin's daughter, was associated with the Right Sector, FSB sources told Kommersant.

Details. The Ukrainian nationalist organization "Right Sector" is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia. Russian special services regularly detain people in the country who are accused of working for the "Right Sector" ( one of the latest cases ). The Kommersant publication does not provide details of Vovk's work for the Right Sector. The organization has not yet commented on Kommersant's information.

• The day before, pro-Kremlin Telegram channels also reported that Vovk could serve in the Azov Regiment, which was designated a terrorist organization in Russia this summer and also banned. As confirmation of their words, the telegram channels cited a “copy of the certificate” of Vovk in the Azov regiment. However, almost immediately the Azov press service stated that Vovk had nothing to do with the regiment.
• According to Kommersant, the investigation does not exclude that Vovk could have accomplices.

Context. Daria Dugina died on Saturday, August 20. On federal television channels, her death was connected with an attempt on her father, the ideologist of the Russkiy Mir, Alexander Dugin. The FSB reported on the solved crime less than 48 hours later. According to the service, the attempt was organized by the Ukrainian special services, and the plan was carried out by a citizen of Ukraine, Natalia Vovk.
