A teacher of a Sunday school near Moscow set fire to his office and stabbed to death the rector of the church.

In Domodedovo, near Moscow, a 22-year-old Sunday school teacher at the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker stabbed its rector , Sergius Lopukhov, to death. This was reported by the prosecutor's office and the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

According to the investigation, the teacher set fire to the Sunday school office on the church grounds at about 09:00 Moscow time, and then stabbed Lopukhov, who tried to stop him. The abbot died on the spot.

In the video published by the Investigative Committee, his blurred body lies on the threshold of the building, and the premises inside were damaged by fire.
