“These are economic crimes and even minor thefts. Although now everything is in such a situation that you can’t leave the country anywhere. And it means that a person can be left for a subscription and not put in a pre -trial detention center. But they are planting everyone. Probably, investigators do not want to work - or they have some kind of“ arrest ”reporting,” the human rights activist said.

It is obsessed with prisoners in the Stavropol Territory (700 people), as well as in the Rostov region, where each of the five pre-trial detention centers is more than 100-300 prisoners. According to human rights defenders, there are no places in the insulators of Crimea, "has not been since May." In pre -trial detention center No. 1 in Simferopol, instead of 800 under investigation, there are approximately twice as many people.

It will fly to the pre -trial detention center in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region since 2021. In the city there are six pre -trial detention centers with a total capacity of 7.1 thousand people.
