The musician and leader of the Crispy Newspaper group Aikhal Ammosov (real name Igor Ivanov) has been charged with “discrediting” the Russian army. The reason for this was a banner with the words Yakutian punk against war ("Yakutian punk against war") - its employees of the "E" center prevented it from being hung at a shopping center in Yakutsk before the arrival of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin for a meeting about forest fires and floods.
According to the republican department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2022, the Yakutsk City Court brought Ammosov to administrative responsibility three times under Part 1 of Article 20.3. “However, later, the suspect placed a banner with an inscription on the roof of one of the buildings in the center of the city of Yakutsk, the content of which discredited the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the country and its citizens,” the ministry said in a statement.
Now Ammosov is under house arrest and placed in a temporary detention center until September 3.
