In the center of Moscow, police detained the owners of supercars who were planning to organize a rally. This was reported by the capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs , RIA Novosti and Shot .
The police learned about “the intention of a group of citizens to hold a mass public event that was not coordinated with the authorities” and stopped it.
The press release from the Ministry of Internal Affairs does not specify what kind of event they are talking about, but RIA Novosti, citing a source, writes about a rally of expensive sports cars.
“Participants in the rally were warned in advance that the event was inadmissible, knowing that they were also going to put up “Rich and Successful” stickers,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Shot published several videos from the raid. In one, security forces lead young people with their arms clasped behind them into a paddy wagon. In another video , expensive cars are evacuated to a special parking lot.
