On August 19, the Lida Belarusian District Court recognized the social networks of the fictional virtual state of Veishnoria as extremist.
The YouTube channel, the VKontakte group, Facebook and Instagram, Odnoklassniki, a TikTok account, as well as a channel and chat on Veishnoria's telegram were included in the list of "extremist materials".
Veishnoria is a fictional virtual state created for the joint Russian-Belarusian military exercises "West-2017". According to the plan of the organizers, Veishnoria and two other fictitious countries - Vesbaria and Lubenia - were supposed to attack Belarus. According to the exercise map published by the General Staff, Veishnoria occupies most of the Grodno region and the northwestern part of the Minsk and Vitebsk regions. After the exercises, this country had its own state bodies and even a “currency”.
