The former head of the Internet, the winner of the TEFI Prize, Laurean Laurean Aslamazyan died in Yerevan in an accident.
“Great grief. Manana Aslamazyan died in Yerevan. The car was shot down. Manana is our great friend, our mother. Mom of Russian journalism. I don’t even know who made more for us.” The journalist Victoria Mushkik said in Facebook.
Manana Aslamazyan was hospitalized with injuries, but died in the hospital, without coming to the creation. The 25-year-old driver of Tesla was detained and is now in a pre-trial detention center.
From the moment of its founding in 1997 and before its liquidation by the authorities in 2007, thousands of federal and regional reporters, editors and producers who were taught to work according to the most advanced standards of quality journalism, led by Manana Aslamazyan. In Internyus, Vladimir Pozner, Leonid Parfenov, Svetlana Sorokina, Marianna Maksimov and other recognized professionals were taught.
Here is what her friends and colleagues write about the death of Manana Aslanamazyan.
Journalist, TV presenter (NTV, TV-6, REN-TV)
In the same years when I worked at Echo, I also worked at Internyus (for those who know, it was literally across the road). She taught in their famous television schools, was the second teacher, or apprentice, among masters as Svetlana Sorokina, Julia Mushnik, Marianna Maximovskaya, Pasha Sheremet. Developed and wrote a distance course on writing news texts on TV; Then all the remote was in the novelty, 2007 ...
Manana was not just a creative center, but the mother of all this space and all who fell into it.
Unfortunately, like all living things and present, Internyus interfered, did not fit - even then. Manana was squeezed out of Russia, they came to Internyus with searches (by the way, somewhere on the seized computers there was my distance program, which we developed with such difficulty), and then completely closed.
If the Moscow "Internyus" survived to this day, he would be recognized as an foreigner or undesirable organization.
Dear Manana, I will always remember 🖤
Journalist, ex-president of the Academy of Russian Television
The news of the death of Manana Aslanmazyan stunned me. This is so ridiculous, so impossible. This is such a loss. I don’t remember what Manana received for TEFI, but I hope that it was a contribution to the development of Russian television. It is difficult to even evaluate this contribution, because it can only be measured by the number of people to whom she managed to give an understanding that there is TV, that there is journalism. I repeat, this contribution is immeasurable, and the manana's departure is irreparable.

Television journalist, producer
The terrible news came from Yerevan ...
Manana Aslamazyan did not become a wonderful manana. Although one could not indicate the last name: if we spoke Manana, then, of course, it implied that it was only about her.
You can write a lot about Manana. She did a lot for the development of regional television in Russia, and would have done even more if she had not been stopped. Manana was forced to immigrate. She lived for a long time and worked in Paris.
Then, in 2010, we, members of the Academy of Russian Television, voted for Manana to be awarded a special prize of TEFI "For a personal contribution to the development of Russian television." Nevertheless, for the first time in the 16 years of the existence of TEFI, the name of the winner from the stage was not announced. It was a shame on the Academy, which was never able to wash off.
Nevertheless, the Manana Prize was nevertheless awarded. Almost secretly, at the VVC - this photo was taken just after this award.
I can't believe in her death ...

Journalist, teacher of the Journalism School "Internyus"
We have grief, yesterday a completely unique, beloved and only Manana Aslanmazyan died. It is impossible to say how much she helped humanly, professionally how many warmed, how many she saved! Her presence in my life, in general in this life, warmed me, pleased, and meetings with her have always been a holiday! From one word of Manan, Mananchik became joyful and wanted to smile. I am crying now.
What a grief ... not only for me, but for thousands of those for whom acquaintance and friendship with it changed life.
Bright memory ...

Manana ...
I roar, I do not want to believe that I will have to live without you on this earth.
She gathered in Yerevan, anticipated our conversations and this special voice, and a special warm, penetrating look.
The heart and soul given to people.
How much helped, how I put many on the wing!
The whole generation of regional Russian (and not only Russian) journalists owe Manana Aslamazyan.
These were not only new knowledge, amazing communication, it was a chance to become a different person.
And Manana made me a teacher.
And I do not know how to live without her, and I do not want and cannot believe it !!
Journalist, Uplated Laureate TEFI
Manana died ... recently they spoke with her on the phone, agreed on a meeting this fall, in Yerevan.
Orphans.
Damed year

It is impossible to believe in the tragic death of the expensive Manana Aslanmazyan. The amazing energy of Manana, its endless warmth and depth turned it into a symbol for a whole generation of journalists in Russia. Manana changed the system and created new worlds. That is why Internyus was among the first to become an enemy and threat to the Russian authorities long before the status of foreign agents and unwanted organizations.

Manana ...
I created so much. I taught so much. So brightly shone. So she knew how to be friends, and all of us were close to each other. She brought so much by the hand both on the human and professional path of life.
Well, how many years, and passing to the Arbat, each time I raise my eyes, I look at the end wall of the Domzhur, at its very top, to where the trace of the door is still visible, and I think: there was the manana’s office.
It is impossible to accommodate in the head, accept, understand.
It is not entirely possible to even write a “bright memory”. She, the memory of Manana, and so, by itself forever and will definitely be bright. Like Manana herself, like her smile, like everything that she gave, gave us all. I personally.
And our country. The fact that people who are categorically do not need anything free and honest in Russia, then, in 2007, they came for her for one of the first, only confirms that they knew and understood how everything they did and built Manana was strictly perpendicular to their plans, that they only intended to get to the twenty-second. And they got.
And, that means that the words about the bright memory are not empty and on duty, it will be necessary to at least somehow, at least, but to unfold back.
I will try, Manana. Although consciousness categorically refuses to put your name and the word “no” nearby.
Damn August.

I am orphaned again. We are orphaned. This does not fit in the head.
We were friends for thirty years. Manana was ... an absurd word "was." Should have met tonight. And did not meet. I did not call back what was not like her. Let's go to look. In intensive care, they said that they could not do anything.
Manana had plans. I wanted to spend here in Yerevan Artdokfest. More precisely, help some guys with the organization. She always helped everyone. Friends, friends, some youth. For all, she was Mamania Aslamazyan. Hot, energetic, lively, wise. And very kind.
I loved Moscow very much. But, it seems, in these months it was happy here in Yerevan. We wandered around the city, remembered different from our television life. They planned to travel around Armenia more. I loved to listen to her stories.
And how Manana cooked! We still managed to get her a lesson in the preparation of Dolma. I watched how she cooks - and my heart sank with admiration. I did everything with the soul. Dolma, television, Internyus.
Neither Internyus, nor the TV she tried to create in Russia - this country was not needed. From her beloved Moscow, Manana moved to her beloved Armenia. But, it seems, I missed Moscow. However, she was not a dull person. Any space in which she found herself came to life next to her. Now there will be less living in this world.
I cry.
See you, Manana-Dzhan.
