Channel One has decided to return entertainment content to its broadcasting schedule, which was removed after the war in Ukraine began. The channel's general director, Konstantin Ernst, said this during the Znanie society marathon, as reported by TASS.
Ernst noted that on February 24, after the start of the “special military operation,” the channel was the first to change its broadcast schedule.
"Throughout these months, we have primarily been engaged in discussing, analyzing, and informing our audience. We will continue to do this now, but on weekends we will begin to return entertainment projects," he added.
According to the CEO, Channel One will return to air programs that have already been broadcast, and new projects will also be shown.
