It is impossible to win the war without destroying the Ukrainian state. So not for long and before the assault on the annexed Crimea, to which the Kherson grouping of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, being surrounded, will not be able to help.

To pull with decisions - mobilization, leaving the southern regions of Ukraine - can also only be up to a certain limit. The expression from the Books on Military History about the “interception of strategic initiative” means exactly this: if you pull with decisions for a long time, they will decide for you.

Who will decide? Ukraine, but this is understandable. But inside Russia, it seems, there was also a force that is ready to solve, replacing the leaders of the country paralyzed by a lethargic loss. This force was not on the political map of Russia a few months ago. As a matter of fact, this force is a product of war and indecision of the president of the Russian Federation who unleashed it.
