Six anti-fascists were arrested in the Urals
Anti-fascists from Tyumen, Yekaterinburg and Surgut underwent mass searches. Six people were arrested in cases of organizing a terrorist community (Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code) and manufacturing explosives (Part 2 of Article 223.1 of the Criminal Code). This is reported by the telegram channels "Prometheus" and "Antifa.ru" .
On August 30, Kirill Brik and Deniz Aidyn were detained in Tyumen. According to the investigation, an improvised explosive device was found on the activists - the young people allegedly planned to test it in the area of the Tyumen thermal power plant. On September 2, the activists were placed in a pre-trial detention center until October 29 - they are charged with making a homemade explosive.
Late in the evening of August 31, two more activists, Yuri Neznamov and Daniil Chertkov, were arrested in Yekaterinburg - 15,000 rubles were missing from the latter after a search.
At the same time, Nikita Oleinikov and Roman "Red" were arrested in Surgut. Oleinikov also lost money after the search - this time 200 thousand rubles.
On September 1, all four activists were brought to the Drug Control Department in Tyumen. There, for the first time, Oleinikov managed to contact his relatives - he said that he was charged with an article on organizing a terrorist community, and asked for the help of a lawyer.
On September 3, it became known that Neznamov and Chertkov were in jail. The next day, Neznamov managed to get in touch through another person - he said that under torture with electricity and water, the young man signed papers that he could not read.
The anti-fascist community believes that the activists are persecuted primarily for their anti-authoritarian views, and compares what is happening with the Network case.
