The Carnegie Moscow Center has ceased operations

The Carnegie Moscow Center, which represented the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (USA) in Russia, ceased its work. This is reported on the organization's website.

The reason was the order of the Ministry of Justice of April 8. Then the department closed the representative offices of fifteen international and foreign organizations in the country.

The foundation launched a new website, Carnegie Politika , to continue publishing analysis about Russia, Ukraine and neighboring countries.

14:00 Journalist Alexander Plyushchev clarified in his telegram channel that the Carnegie Moscow Center stopped working in April, immediately after the decision of the Ministry of Justice.

• The Carnegie Moscow Center was opened in 1994, the decree on its creation was signed by President Boris Yeltsin. The organization studied the problems of the Russian community and economy, domestic and foreign policy, as well as international relations.
