Leninsky originates from the design bureau created in 1945 under the Ministry of Aviation Industry of the USSR. The collapse of the Union is already a huge enterprise, which included about three dozen factories and institutions located mainly in Leningrad. The main specialization of Leninza is the release of radar and navigation equipment for the army and navy, although a considerable part of the products went to civilian needs.
Turchak Sr. settled down in Leninets back in 1960 by a locksmith. Years later, according to one version in the judo section of the sports club “Turbostroitel”-the Turchak-Sr. will meet young Putin, wrote St. Petersburg historian and journalist Lev Lurie. True, Andrei Turchak claimed that his father had never been involved in judo. This acquaintance will play an important role in the life of Turchak: in the early 90s, when he will already be the director of Leninz, the St. Petersburg City Hall will give him permission to open joint ventures with Western companies. Putin was engaged in these issues as the head of the Committee on External Relations of the City Hall. The latter will even invite the Turchak Sr. to politics, making him his deputy for the St. Petersburg branch of the Nashi-Russia movement.
In 1992, the privatization of Leninz began. Turchak, being only an employee, was able to become the main owner of his employer. To do this, all the enterprises that were part of the Leninets were through the voucherization procedure - were transformed into joint -stock companies, and in December of the same year, the Leninsky Holding Company was registered, in the authorized capital of which 50% of the shares of these enterprises were transferred. The privatization of the holding company took place with a delay of several years, recalls one of the former leaders of Leninz, and during this time Turchak managed to sell some assets to get money and take part in the privatization of the parent organization. “They acted in the total vein (those years -“ project ”). The “project” managed to find more than 100 non -residential buildings and 35 plots with a total area of almost half a million square meters, which are issued for companies associated with Leninz. In 2021, the Volkovsky residential complex appeared here, in which 20 apartments and premises belong to the wife of Andrei Turchak Kira through ZBT LLC.

The sons of Boris and Andrei, the latter left the posts in Leninz in 2007, participated in the Leninese management since the 90s, everything that happened with defense enterprises was their work. Boris now owns and manages a number of enterprises, and in the family of Andrei, his wife Kira, who receives regular income from this lesson, owns a business.
This is what “their common” looks like now. The House of Soviets, into which the Turchak Sr. allegedly did not let Yeltsin, almost immediately turned from the headquarters of the defense enterprise into the Moscow 212 business center. This is a huge building, in which about seven hundred working premises rented. Now here you can buy an insurance policy, get legal services, go to yoga and massage. This is a flagship business that brings about 100 million rubles a year.
The building in the style of Soviet modernism on Bucharest Street belonged to the Research Institute of System Instructure, which was part of the Leninets. Back in 2019, at the Max air show, you could look at the products manufactured by it-for example, the Novella search and vocal complex. It was installed on combat aircraft for the search and accompany enemy ships and aviation.
Now this building is faced with gray siding, and on the corner there is a sign “Business Center Bucharest 24”. The rental here is significantly cheaper than in the House of Soviets, but nevertheless, this office center brings the family of Turchak about 20 million rubles a year, follows from the financial statements of the company Bucharestskaya 24 LLC for 2021.
The Leningrad Mechanical Plant "Leninets", which gave the name to the entire holding and occupied part of the quarter between Moscow Avenue, the streets of Lomanaya, Kolya Tomchak and Zamavskaya, once made on-board radar equipment for fighters. He, in particular, created a “barrier” interception system for MiG-31. Over time, almost all industrial buildings turned into business centers, and legally the territory was sold by the family of Turchakov to different firms. In 2012, the largest workshop was demolished, the parking lot first appeared in its place, and in 2021 fashion high-rise buildings of the Atlas-City business center grew, follows from publications of the industry media, and is also confirmed by extracts from Rosreestr. The latter opened its doors for customers exactly after the war, failure for the Russian armed forces in Ukraine. Partially, real estate in this quarter belongs to Kira Turchak, in particular, about 160 real estate in the 1st ATLAS-City building owned it through the company Prominvest.
Significant military production at Leninz, however, remained. For example, Zaslon JSC still uses part of the buildings that he has received for production purposes, also to produce a number of buildings of the Radiopribor plant, the buildings of the NPP Mir, the Experimental Plant, the building of the Radio -Avionics and NGO Luch, and the Luch NPO, also continue to be used. In 2013, the Ministry of Defense entered into a contract with this company for the development of the board radio station of the circular review of the RCR "Krugozor" for Mi-8 and Ka-226 military helicopters. The prosecutor’s office later revealed that during the implementation of the state contract, money was plundered under the guise of contracts with firms whose registration site became public toilets in the Samara region, the New Gazeta, Kommersant and other media reported.
The companies also entrusted the secret project "Drout". The media wrote that this code name is developing an aviation system for intercepting non -strategic means of attack. The project "Drutik" was either folded, then resumed, and his current status is foggy. Success in a business based on once state real estate could not but affect the quality of the life of the Turchak family. According to the estimates of the “project”, the family of Turchakov has at least 14 apartments, 7 plots and 5 houses in personal property. The “Research Institute of Systems Technology”, which half a century before his liquidation in 2019 was engaged in the creation of aviation and marine electronic systems, was a wealthy Soviet enterprise. In addition to the previously mentioned building on Bucharest Street, the Nii was owned by a significant piece of the Bay of the Gulf of Finland near the village of Logsepp district of the Leningrad region. On sandy shores covered with picturesque forests, there was a test base of the Research Institute.
Information about this landfill cannot be found on the Internet, since the tests passed there were secret. There, in particular, the sensors necessary for the detection of submarines were tested, one of the ex-leaders of the Leninz recalls. Entrance to this territory is protected now, but for another reason. Two security posts separate the closed village built for the Turchak family from the country.
The largest house here - a two -story mansion, standing on a sandy beach surrounded by a coniferous forest - is recorded on Boris Turchak. The dominant of the backyard of this villa was the pool with an area of about 80 m² with sun loungers and a gazebo. On the other side of the house is a neat landscape design.
According to the documents, the Turchak acquired this land from the Systemotechnology Research Institute, in total it owns 5 plots, with a total area of more than 20 thousand square meters. It is very difficult to evaluate the value of this real estate, since houses and land of this type are not sold nearby. The family of Patriot Turchak loves France, the country of NATO. In 2013, the team of Alexei Navalny discovered a company in Nice from Turchak, for which apartments worth 1.3 million euros were issued. Navalny in his investigation pointed out that the house belongs to the house, but he made a mistake, probably due to inaccurate display of the address on the maps. In fact, Turchak belonged to the apartment in an apartment building. Turchak urgently had to supplement his declaration, and later sell real estate. Официальный доход самого Короткова не сильно выше, чем у Орловой — за аналогичный период перед покупкой виллы он официально зарабатывал в среднем около 175 тыс рублей в год , также следует из утекших ранее данных о доходах физлиц.
Орлова на вопрос, знакома ли она с Кирой Турчак, ответила лишь, что «не рекомендовала бы задавать такие вопросы по телефону», а про связи с французской виллой комментариев не дала. Проигнорировала вопросы редакции и пресс-служба «Единой России».
Тем не менее «Проект» имеет основания утверждать, что как минимум супруга генсека «Единой России» регулярно проводила время в стране НАТО вплоть до самого последнего времени. Как следует из ранее слитой на черный рынок базы авиаперелетов, Кира Турчак регулярно ездит во Францию — то в Ниццу, то в Париж.
В последний раз такой полет состоялся незадолго до вторжения в Украину — 5 февраля 2022 года. В общей сложности с 2014 года супруга Турчака («Проект» не может утверждать, сопровождала ли ее семья во время всех поездок) летала во Францию более 20 раз. Эти полеты не прекращались даже в разгар пандемии коронавируса.
Не любой сраный губернатор
Андрей Турчак любит пиар. В сентябре 2014 года к подъездам домов, где живут известные московские журналисты, подали представительские «мерседесы», отправленные губернатором бедствующего российского региона — Псковской области. Журналистов отвезли в аэропорт, откуда на специально зафрахтованном «суперджете» доставили в Псков на встречу с местным губернатором Турчаком. Формальной целью пресс-тура было освещение организованного в регионе фестиваля имени Сергея Довлатова, что лишь добавляет мероприятию абсурдности — в иной ситуации вся эта ситуация могла стать темой для сатирического очерка известного писателя о советских журналистах и номенклатуре. Участников поездки Турчак отбирал лично — вместе с ведущей «Первого канала» Екатериной Андреевой в Псков повезли продюсера Алексея Бокова, кинокритика Антона Долина, галеристку Айдан Салахову, поэтессу Веру Полозкову и других , по словам двух журналистов, участвовавших в пресс-туре, что также подтверждается публикациями того времени.
В итоге вышел целый номер сервильного журнала «Русский пионер», посвященный грядущему фестивалю и Турчаку. Зачем этот пресс-тур понадобился губернатору Турчаку? На протяжении нескольких лет перед этим имидж Турчака нес немалый урон, а человеку с масштабными политическими планами это очень некстати.
Дело в том, что имя Турчака стало неразрывно связано с жестоким избиением журналиста Олега Кашина. В 2010 году во время случайной полемики в «Живом журнале» Кашин предложил сравнить главу Калининградской области Георгия Бооса «с любым губернатором, даже не с Рамзаном и не с Тулеевым, с любым сраным Турчаком». Псковский губернатор в ответ написал свой комментарий, в котором дал Кашину 24 часа на извинения. He refused.
Почти через три месяца камеры видеонаблюдения во дворе дома, где жил Кашин, зафиксировали ужасную сцену, как неизвестные, подкараулив журналиста, нанесли ему 56 ударов железным прутом. Кашин выжил, а после выписки из больницы покинул Россию. Тогдашний президент Дмитрий Медведев обещал найти заказчика нападения, «независимо от его места в общественной системе координат».
Расследование почти не двигалось, пока в 2014 году Следственный комитет не начал вести другое дело — о похищении управляющего АО «Заслон» , входит в «Ленинец», Александра Горбунова. Похитители заставили Горбунова признаться на видеокамеру, что заказчиком избиения Кашина был Турчак, а сам Горбунов — организатором этого преступления. Further - more. В итоге эти двое были осуждены за похищение Горбунова. О их роли в деле Кашина следствие ничего не сказало. Сам Андрей Турчак все обвинения отрицал и связывал историю похищения Горбунова с корпоративным конфликтом.
Формально дело о нападении на журналиста до сих пор не завершено. Следователь, который его вел, был отстранен, а об успехах его сменщика ничего не известно. Сам Кашин сказал «Проекту», что о каких-либо подвижках в расследовании не слышал с 2015 года.
Все это не помешало Турчаку получить из рук Медведева, когда-то обещавшего «оторвать голову» напавшим на Кашина, должность секретаря генсовета «Единой России». В ответ — уже после вторжения в Украину — ястреб Турчак вручил партбилет «Единой России» Илье Медведеву, сыну другого ястреба этой войны.
