In Yalta, dozens of citizens staged a gathering near the Ministry of Internal Affairs, protesting against the actions of the police, who released one of the suspects in the murder of a local resident. The defendants of the case were the “militia” of the “Crimean Spring” and a former fighter from the self -proclaimed DPR, who served under the leadership of the field commander of Motorola. On the evening of September 7, dozens of residents of Yalta arranged a spontaneous gathering near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, after the police released the suspect in the murder committed on the eve of the murder. The murder in question occurred in the evening of September 6 at the Autocafa door. According to Baza , 34-year-old Sergei Sukhov became a victim-he died due to multiple stab wounds in the hospital, where the suspects themselves delivered him.

The next day, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Crimea reported on the detention of two suspects and initiating a criminal case about causing serious harm to health with the use of weapons.
