The center of St. Petersburg will be blocked due to the procession

On Monday, September 12, in St. Petersburg, a procession will be held, dedicated to the day of transferring the relics of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky. Because of this, traffic in the center will be partially redrawn, the press service of the transport committee writes .

During the procession, it will be allowed to raise the flags of the self-proclaimed republics of the Donbass, writes Zaks.ru with reference to the governor of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra of the Bishop of Kronstadt Nazaria. He added that in addition to icons and banners, Russian tricolors and flags of invited public organizations are allowed. Political symbolism will not be allowed.

Where in St. Petersburg they will limit movement due to the procession:

🟢 September 12 from 10:00 to 12:00 will close:

• Kazan Square and Kazan Street from Gorokhova to Nevsky;
• Nevsky Prospekt (from Kazan to the square of Alexander Nevsky;
• Lane by Sergey Tyulenin.

🟢 September 12 from 10:00 to 13:00 will be closed by the movement:

• Square of Alexander Nevsky;
• Nevsky Prospekt from house number 175 to Alexander Nevsky Square.

🟢 From 20:00 on September 11 to 18:00 on September 12, a stop on Alexander Nevsky Square will be prohibited. At the same time, by narrowing of the roadway, the passage along the area of ​​Alexander Nevsky will be limited in the direction from Chernoretsky Lane to the Alexander Nevsky bridge.

🟢 Кроме этого, 12 сентября с 00:00 до 23:29 будет действовать запрет остановки на Казанской площади, Казанской улице от Гороховой до Невского), на нечетной стороне набережной канала Грибоедова от Невского до переулка Сергея Тюленина, а также на Невском от Полтавской до площади Александра Невского.
