The celebrations of the royal anniversary will continue all year. They began on January 10, when the contest "Platin Pudding" began, in which everyone can take part to create a new dish in honor of the 70-year reign of the Queen. This contest of royal dishes is a tradition, like much more in the oldest monarchy of Europe. For example, the recipe for “coronation chickens” invented for the coronation of Her Majesty in 1953 is still very popular in the country. The recipe for the “platinum pudding” will be published, and not those who know or not love to prepare, will be able to taste it on public dinners, which will take place during the culmination of the festival from June 2 to 5. And according to the Thames in the center of London, the “River of Hope” will be launched - 200 silk flags drawn by children, decorated with images of hope, as they imagine it.
In July, in the Buckingham Palace, the Windsor castle and the royal residence in Kholirud three expositions will be presented to the Queen’s entry into the throne, its coronations and anniversaries. Portraits, jewelry and clothes will be exhibited on them.
During the holidays, the royal residences of Sandringham and Balmoral will be open to visitors.
In honor of the platinum anniversary, the royal post released eight marks with the signs of the queen, reflecting the milestones of her reign, they have portraits of Elizabeth from 1957 to 2020.
On the initiative of the queen herself, in honor of her anniversary, many trees will be planted, which will make up the "green crown of the queen." All subjects of Her Majesty were invited to plant trees throughout the country in honor of the anniversary, from October to March, since this is the best time to plant trees.
