Titov left the post of business ombudsman

The Presidential Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs Boris Titov resigned. He himself informed Interfax himself about this.

“The powers are over. Today, others should catch the baton. Who is the next ombudsman? The answer to this question is the absolute prerogative of the president, ”Titov said.

The press service of the Ombudsman reported that the powers ended in June, but before the appointment of a new authorized Titus, it coordinates the work of the apparatus. According to the law, you can only be a business ombudsman in a row. Now a large number of candidates are being discussed, however, according to Titov, the new authorized person should be from among the entrepreneurs.

“Some candidates for various reasons did not fit, some themselves refused, but the work continues. Personally, I believe that the Ombudsman must have entrepreneurial experience. What is called, in your skin to feel all problems, all risks to engage in business in our country. And if he has experience working for the state, knowledge, firsthand what bureaucracy is - then this is generally the perfect candidate. Of course, the president will decide, but I would still advise him to appoint an entrepreneur, ”Titov said.

He held the position of business ombudsman since 2012. In addition, Titov in 2006-2009 was part of the Public Chamber and was in 2000-2005 a member of the board of the Bureau of the Board of the RSPP.
