On the eve of the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, visited the destroyed Mariupol, where he met with the fighters of the unrecognized Donetsk Republic and a schoolgirl who handed over a teddy bear for Vladimir Putin.
A video with a touching scene during an inspection of one of the city's schools appeared on Beglov's page on VKontakte on Sunday morning. According to the governor, the child was waiting for him on one of the floors.
“Mishka will never leave his taiga. And Russia will never leave us. Therefore, we want to give this bear cub to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” the girl said, holding out the toy.
As the Rotunda found out, the schoolgirl turned out to be the winner of the beauty contest “Mini Top Model of the Azov Region” in 2018, organized by the “Mariupol Art School “Stars of the Azov Region””. The director of this company, Victoria Kalacheva, now holds the position of deputy head of the pro-Russian administration of Mariupol.
