Karelia: the administrator of the anti-war telegram channel was detained

In Karelia, in the criminal case of Fakes, the administrator of the anti-war telegram channel Sergey Dev. was detained about the Russian army, reports 7x7.

According to the publication, the case against a resident of the republic was initiated due to the repost of the recording of the “feminist anti-war resistance” on the siege of Mariupol and the publication of the poster with the letter Z in the form of a swastika, which law enforcement officials considered the rehabilitation of Nazism.

"7x7" writes that Dev. was detained while trying to leave the city, without specifying which city is talking about. Together with a blogger, according to the publication, his acquaintance was detained, who was later released in the status of a witness.

After the detention of the other, he did not get in touch.

According to journalist Katrin Nenasheva, two criminal cases were brought to another - about the spread of "fakes" about the armed forces and about the desecration of symbols of military glory of Russia.

Dev. Dev. Natalia Chernova said that her client was fined 1,500 rubles under Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for the publication of the image of two crossed letters "Z" in a telegram, "network freedoms" clarify .

• After the start of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, the State Duma adopted a law under which military censorship was actually introduced in the country. In the administrative and criminal codes, articles on the "discredit" of the army and "fakes" about the army appeared. According to them, they are punished for any critical statements about the war in Ukraine. According to "network freedoms", during the war, more than 3 thousand administrative cases of "discrediting" and at least 100 criminal cases of "fakes" were instituted.
