A press conference was held in Kursk regarding partial mobilization in the region. At it, the military commissar of the region, Vladimir Rodionov, said that the mobilization approach "will be tough," and also said that "conscripts will be attracted to the fighting in the event of an increase in aggression."
“The military registration and enlistment office will not spare anyone: everyone will defend the Motherland. I warn those who will feign illness now, there will be a tough approach, look at criminal liability, ”he said.
According to him, a medical examination will be needed only for those who complain about their health: “For the rest: I received a summons - immediately to the collection point. Those without training will have to rebuild their skills.” Rodionov said that in the Kursk region in the near future 600 people would be sent to a two-week training camp. Rodionov clarified that the draftees of the Ministry of Defense would be paid up to five to seven million rubles, the governor - one, and all loan obligations would be repaid.
"We poison with the slogan 'Win, not die'," he also said.
At the same press conference, the region's governor Roman Starovoit said that "a mobilization manpower reserve would be created in the region to solve problems on the territory of the Kursk region to protect its borders and eliminate emergencies." According to him, these people will be trained, and on “Day X” they will be called again. These people will receive three additional payments - at the conclusion of the contract, during the training period and monthly for the fact that the person is in the reserve. The amount is not specified.
