Raisins: Exhumation

Mass burial of citizens discovered after the departure of the Russian troops, through the eyes of our photojournalist

This burial is in a pine forest. The work continued continuously, for a week, in the rain. The General Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrei Kostin and numerous European diplomats, as well as journalists, watched how they raise the bodies from the ground. I also saw how it happened.

The officially reports: in total 447 bodies were raised, most are civilians, among them there are children's bodies. Some of the victims have traces of torture. Such a mass burial is not the only one in raisins. Local authorities say that at least three more similar spontaneous cemeteries were found in the area.
