Sasha Skochilenko

In St. Petersburg, the artist Sasha Skochilenko, accused in the criminal case of "fakes" about the army, was charged. This is stated in the telegram channel "Freedom to Sasha Skochilenko."

The investigation believes that she replaced the price tags in the store with anti -war leaflets. It is clarified that Skochilenko did this "having a prejudice and hostile feeling in relation to the actions of the armed forces during a special operation in Ukraine," as well as the president and state authorities. According to the investigation that information in the leaflets was "obviously false."

The indictment speaks of five leaflets that "imitated the price tags."

  • "The Russian army bombed a thin one. A school in Mariupol. About 400 people hid in it from shelling."
  • "Russian conscripts are sent to Ukraine. The price of this war is the lives of our children."
  • Putin is lying to us from TV screens for 20 years. The result of this lie is our readiness to justify the war and meaningless deaths. "
  • "My great -grandfather participated in the Great Patriotic War of 4 years not to ensure that Russia has become a fascist state and attacked Ukraine"
  • Stop the war! In the first three days, 4300 Russian soldiers were killed. Why are they silent about this on television? "

Sasha Skochilenko threatens up to 10 years in prison in the case of creating "fakes" about the Russian army. Civil activists and journalists created an open letter demanding to release Skochilenko from the pre-trial detention center due to potential destructive problems for her health. At the end of April, Skochilenko worsened the state of health in the pre -trial detention center. She suffers from gluten intolerance, in the insulator she first did not receive a safe food for herself.

In June, Skochilenko was sent to a psychiatric examination. The human rights organization Amnesty International recognized her as a prisoner of conscience.
