In one of the schools of Izhevsk, shooting occurred

In Izhevsk at school No. 88, shooting occurred. According to the Investigative Committee, 15 people became victims of shooting, among them two guards of the educational institution and two teachers, as well as 11 minors, were injured by 39 people. Some were injured, jumping from the windows.

According to "112", shooting began during the lesson. Unknown in black clothes went into class and began to shoot at schoolchildren.

The head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, said that he arrived at the scene.

“In Izhevsk school No. 88, while an unidentified person penetrated school, killed the guard, this is already known. There are victims among the children and wounded. Now the evacuation has almost ended. According to my information, the [attacker] himself was shot,” the governor said .

SK confirmed that the attacker committed suicide. It is alleged that he was dressed in a black T -shirt with Nazi symbols and Balaklava. There were no documents under him, his personality is currently being established.

SK said that criminal cases have been instituted - the murder of two or more persons and the illegal wearing of firearms. Materials are transferred to the Main Investigation Department of the IC of Russia.

The press service of the SK named the name Strelka: this is Artem Kazantsev, born in 1988, a native of the city of Izhevsk, a graduate of this school.

The last known case of shooting at the Russian school occurred in October 2021 in the village of Sars near Perm. Then a 12-year-old teenager came to a school with a hunting carbine and shot twice at the ceiling and at the wall. As a result of shooting, no one was injured. The teenager was detained.
