The Student Affairs Commission of the Faculty of Journalism of the Moscow State University decided to deduct two students who condemned the “patriotic” action of the 3rd year student Stepan Anthropov. At a meeting of the Student Affairs Commission, the dean of the faculty Elena Vartanova said, “that they dishonor the university, that they threaten not only them, but also the university,” students say. On September 23, Anthropov came to the journalism factory building on Mokhova in a T-shirt with a Z-symbolic and waved the flag of the “LPR”. According to students, they reminded him that political actions in the walls of the university were prohibited and caused protection. When men saw the symbolism of the "LPR", they did not take any action.

In the evening in the group chat of the faculty, students criticized the action of Stepan. They were offended by the fact that in the walls of the university they are punished for political statements only if they are directed against the authorities. Elena Vartanova wrote on her VKontakte page that such hostility is unacceptable. The anthropov students did not agree with an ethical commission.

“On Friday at the faculty, everyone was on the nerves: many girls took dads, brothers, guys from many girls. Nobody said anything before his action, but he took such a bold step to take it. For me, as a student, it was offensive that we cannot say anything, because they immediately write to us [denunciations], we are immediately scolded. And he could always always, and everyone understood this, ”shared a 3rd year student Svetlana (the name was changed at the request of the heroine).

Vladimir Solovyov wrote about the situation at the faculty in his telegram and attached screenshots of the dialogue of students without smeared names. The news was picked up by Z-channels, published numbers and electronic mail participants in the dispute with calls to expel them. Then the students began to receive threats: the girls wished for death and called their parents.

This is not the first political action of Anthropov. In the spring, he visited Lyon and March 18, on the day of the annexation of Crimea, went to a single picket. Stepan is known at the faculty of his pro -government position, he also practiced the RT channel and was in the occupied Mariupol as a correspondent. Stepan himself claims that he had already sent an application to the front as a military unit and will soon go to Ukraine.

Antropov's fellow students said that last year he wrote to students with offers to make love. Then the university’s employees asked “not to contact him” - this was repeated after other statements by Stepan.

“We often discussed some political topics in the conversation of the faculty, but never reached the extreme point. Stepan was always said that this is not very right, that you say so that it is better to finish, he was asked to stop writing. And, as I understand it, he complained to the teachers who were for him, they, in turn, went to our curator. Some teachers talked with students and asked not to contact Anthropov, ”said Svetlana.
