Moscow authorities announced the closure of central streets on September 30. A rally in support of “referendums on joining Russia” is planned for this day.

The Moscow Department of Transport announced the closure to traffic of a number of streets and embankments in the city center on September 30.

In particular, traffic will be blocked on the Kremlin, Moskvoretskaya embankments, Vasilyevsky Spusk, Ilyinka, Varvarka, Bolotnaya, Staraya Square streets.

On September 30, the authorities plan to hold a rally in the center of Moscow in support of "referenda on joining Russia" of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR, as well as the occupied Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, RBC reports, citing sources in the State Duma and the Moscow mayor's office .

According to TASS , the rally-concert will take place on Red Square. Vladimir Putin can speak at it. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on this information to journalists.

RBC's interlocutors said that before the rally, Putin would speak to deputies and senators, after which an "agreement on joining Russia" of the self-proclaimed republics and occupied regions would be signed.
