Ukraine accused the Rosgvardamyites of shooting the cars of civilians in GOST. Among the suspects are the leadership of riot police in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies accused the employees of the Russian Guard from the Kemerovo region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the execution of cars of civilians in Gostol of the Kyiv region on February 25.

The National Police statement says that as a result, 11 people died and 15 were injured. The messages of the Kiev prosecutor's office and the SBU show other data - five dead and six wounded.

The press releases states that the Rosgvardists, "without fulfilling the combat mission to seize Kyiv, retreated and took up positions in GOSTOL." There, sitting in the area of ​​Shevchenko and Svyat-Pokrovskaya streets, the military “fired cars with local residents who tried to evacuate for more than six hours,” the SBU said.

The departments distributed footage from video surveillance cameras, which show how the military, hiding by the road, shoot at the passing cars from different sides. According to the National Police, among the damaged cars the smallest number of bullet holes - 38, and the largest - 128. The head of the Crimean Police Investigative Department, Alexander Klimovsky compared the execution of the Safari.

Among the dead was a Russian citizen who lived in GOSTOL, among the victims - a German citizen.

In official messages, only the positions of the suspects are named, but the Ukrainian edition of Sodovy Reporter, on the basis of official documents on the website of the office of the Prosecutor General’s office, calls their names - this is the commander of the riot police in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergey Kazyichev , his deputy Sergei Vaikkolineen , deputy head of the Rosgvard Directorate for the Krasnoyarsk Territory Oleg Polopalsky , as well as OMON OMNA employees of Nikita Gadaev And Alexey Malakhaev.

What happened to these people after the events of February 25 is unknown. The leadership of the Russian Guard has not yet commented on the prosecution against its employees, but the Russian authorities do not recognize the commission of crimes against the civilian population during the war in Ukraine.
