The head of the Ukrainian administration of Zaporozhye, Alexander Old woman, wrote that Russian troops hit the column. He added that people stood in line for the occupied territory to pick up their loved ones or take medications to them. Member of the Council of the Prossei Military-Civil Administration of the Zaporizhzhya Region Vladimir Rogov told RIA Novosti that Ukrainian troops fired at the column. He added that the column that fell under the blow stood in the area of ​​the market on the Orekhovsky highway.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in connection with the shelling on September 30, called Russia a terrorist state: “The terrorist is firing in missiles on the civilian population of Zaporozhye, Nikolaevschina, Dnipropetrovsk.
