There were not enough crews, so the father flew a shooter, even had combat awards. Lucky, survived. And after the war, he came to the plant, worked there as a master of the STO mainly the workshop.
I liked the planes so much that I also caught fire, wanted to become a military pilot, fly on fighters. Moreover, I did not have any health restrictions, I gradually graduated from the school with a silver medal, I had my ability to study. Still, my mother is a teacher of chemistry and biology, Honored Teacher of the RSFSR. I studied chemistry right from the first grade. There were no extensions then, my mother took me after the fourth lesson, put me at her last desk to her class, and I listened. It turned out that all this is quite easy - well, what is incomprehensible there? In the end, chemistry is just what our whole life consists of. She creates her, she also destroys her. Everything else is the chance that consists of fate.
One such accident occurred at me at the military registration and enlistment office. I asked for a flight school, and at the age of 17 they sent me to the helicopter. For the first time, then I was offended by my homeland, wrote a report of dismissal and went to enter the institute. For some reason, I decided that I would not have enough for Moscow aviation knowledge. And my older sister just graduated from MIIT by that time. And I thought: the railway is also cool. I picked up the most interesting specialty - the designer of electric locomotives. Then there was a Soviet Union, several more plants worked, which built electric locomotives and diesel locomotives, so they were preparing specialists. A lot of them were not required, there was only one group in the country, and I got into it. Twenty people received us, and in the end only ten designers were released. And here recently I needed to call in MITs at the Native Faculty of Electrification, and there I found in horror that my specialty no longer exists. Designers are no longer needed.
Why? Well, here I am a young designer, after the institute at the Rybnoy depot in the Ryazan region. First, he traveled on an assistant to the driver on the train - as it was supposed to become a master of the repair workshop. In order, as they say, look at life, to know it better. I traveled, found out. What can I say? Even then, it was noticeable, and now it is already everywhere: we have always been good about engineering, but for some reason only if it is not ours, but foreign. I don’t know what the reason is, but, for example, all the most modern passenger and freight domestic electric locomotives that are still used by us, all the main ideas and solutions in them are borrowed from the French. The parties of this and this were bought, copied and applied.
In general, I must say that the thought, and especially the technological thought, we have more than one hundred years already in the pen. We are even used to counting ourselves: a-ah, Russia, this is such a backward country. And the funny thing is that this statement seems to be very profitable. Let’s take the Sapsan. Before he appeared here, we made our own normal Sokol train, which is no worse than Sapsan from Siemens. But it was more profitable to buy a train on the side, and with a large amount of the contract. Probably, the logic of money is stronger, but, it seems to me, the neglect of thought ultimately creates a sad picture: real idiots begin to occupy the place of real specialists.
From idiots in Russia, what is the salvation? Only blat.
And I, honestly, in the end used it too. He got a job at the Lukhovitsky Machine -Building Plant, where my father drove me back in childhood. He worked there until the nineties, while the planes were still needed. He became an aviation technician of the highest category, an engineer-aschers of aviation devices and systems of the highest category. That is, I, in fact, realized my dream - became a pilot, but ground. At the same time I saw what the highest quality is. Ideal bolts, wrappers and rivets. But this was interesting: for some reason, we are doing perfectly only for war. And for people - how to get it.

For example, I had to work in the production of our reusable spacecraft Buran, which was then attracted to aviation specialists from all plants in the country. There were sometimes interruptions in the supply of parts, and the enterprise, in order not to idle, was engaged in consumer goods. And it was incredible. And there, the grandmothers riveted something on him and then collected door and hinged locks. Some kind of wildness. I had to take a hammer, score the details, sharpen them with a file so that the lock was closed and opened. Although it would be possible to make normal locks at the factory, which would have worked for a hundred years later. Why not? I could not understand then.
In the nineties, it became possible to change all this. Cooperatives, private enterprises began to appear and I took up business, returned to the railway, and began to do a wonderful job. We dragged excellent technology from agriculture. At one time, in the Rostov region there was a Krasny Aksai plant, which made plows, cultivators and other grounding equipment. All the details there were hardened by the so -called induction surf with Sormait, this increased their service life. We tried to apply this technology in a car sheet of wagons. There is usually dry friction, everything wear out quickly. And with the surfacing of a thin layer of Sormait, the so -called silver cast iron, the service life of auto -chairs increased by 300 times! We literally quickly outlived the marriages of special accounting-this is when, due to the wear of the castles, especially in the passenger movement, there were self-studies of wagons, a very unpleasant thing. Previously, the coupons needed to be repaired every hundred thousand kilometers. And we gave a guarantee - a million kilometers of mileage. Million! It would seem: Oh! It would be necessary to apply such a technology everywhere, but we were ultimately survived: how it is, some kind of company that does not enter the system earns money and prevents us from normally and regularly repair the rolling stock.
But against the background of these adventures, another accident occurred. I was the general director and bought myself the Oka car. I drove 80 thousand kilometers on it. It was 1993, that is, everything happened exactly 29 years ago. My car began to crumble, and I decided to sort it out. They took out the engine, did something elementary-the pistons changed, the rings. And suddenly our technologist comes the wonderful Viktor Balabanov, he worked in combination with us, and brings me a small bubble. Literally like with green. Even the color is the same. And consistency. One to one. On, he says, pour into oil. I ask: what will happen? He says: no worse, Lei. And he is a candidate of sciences, and I am a simple design engineer. Well, what to do, believed, poured.
In the morning I did not recognize the car. I’m going and I don’t understand what is happening at all. As if there is another engine. There are no noise, shaking, wheezing and squabbles at all. The craving even appeared. I came to work and say: Vit, go here, tell me what kind of potion is this? And he told me about Dmitry Nikolayevich Gorkunov. It was like a revelation. I still think that Dmitry Nikolaevich among living people is the greatest person in Moscow now. He is 102 years old, and he is still alive. His two discoveries, made back in the Soviet Union, must definitely change the whole world; At least I hope so. One of these discoveries is the hydrogen wear of metals, and the second is the electoral transfer during friction, or, in other words, the effect of carelessness.
Dmitry Nikolaevich worked at the time at the Air Force Research Institute in Lyubertsy and was investigating aviation disasters. In fact, I seriously thought about how to break the whole system that lives due to the fact that, roughly speaking, it burns oil, and the more toxic smoke emanates from it, the more money will turn out.

He walks with cargoes from Krasnoyarsk along the Yenisei and in Nizhny Tunguska in a tour. And so he refuel with our oil - bang, the temperature of the oil fell, the diesel engine became easier. And then - bang, fuel saving. On a small ship of 200 tons, he began to save a ton of diesel fuel per day! There is 15 days back and forth. Fifteen tons of savings. So, for this winter, three more scrap ships were restored with the money saved.
Do you like this to the modern world with its good old friction? I think not very. This prevents the industry and business to make spare parts, purchase fuel, plan budgets for repairing equipment.
