More than 8 thousand Petersburgers received a summons of mobilization. The plan was completed by a third, the military commissariat reported
A press conference was held in TASS, during which the deputy military commissar of St. Petersburg, Ilfat Abzalov, spoke about the course of mobilization in St. Petersburg. "Paper" recorded the main theses.
- More than 8 thousand Petersburgers were awarded the summons of mobilization. Initially, Abzalov said more than 80 thousand Petersburgers, but TASS later reported that he had made a reservation.
- Abzalov said that in St. Petersburg 30 % “from the general task” was called up. What is meant by “general task” - the number of issued summons or the number of actually mobilized citizens - he did not specify. The total number of people who are planned to mobilize was called closed information.
- In St. Petersburg, eight cases of illegal mobilization have been identified. Abzalov did not reveal the details. The military commissariat "analyzes every such case and returns people home."
- During mobilization, they give priority to citizens with military accounting specialties, however, “for the performance of tasks related to Teroboron”, people of the second and third category may be called from the reserve. First of all, they promise to call shooters, tankers, artillerymen and driver mechanics.
- They promise not to send conscripts to the front, "the autumn call campaign will be carried out as before."
- Abzalov threatened those who receive a summons about mobilization and will not appear at the military registration and enlistment office, a criminal article on evasion of military service (328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, up to two years in prison). However, earlier on the hotline the Ministry of Defense said that only an administrative fine of up to 3 thousand rubles threatens to appear in the military commissariat. Criminal prosecution for evasion is possible, but rarely happens, and there is no information about cases of real terms, as the relevant lawyers say .
- Those who have official reservation will not come. If, nevertheless, the agenda comes, then you need to come to the military registration and enlistment office and clarify why the agenda is handed, says Abzalov. Profile human rights activists recommend avoiding military registration and enlistment office in any case - situations are already known when they mobilized the Russians who came to the military registration and enlistment office to prove their right to delay.
- After the completion of the training training, the mobilized will be given the opportunity to contact relatives. Now the question is being decided about to give the opportunity to meet relatives at the end of preparation.
- Abzalov does not have information about the lack of uniforms and special equipment. “I am sure that the [regional] authorities will provide mobilized by everyone necessary,” he said. Earlier, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, announced the payment and assistance with mobilized equipment.
