In Moscow, dozens of people were detained in the subway

In Moscow on September 30, mass detentions were held in the subway. The police used a person recognition system through video surveillance chambers. OVD-Info reports dozens of detainees. According to them, most detainees are released from the police departments without protocols and with slurred warning.

According to the person recognition system, a well -known scientific journalist, author of educational books Asya Kazantseva, was detained today. It is located in the last month of pregnancy. According to Kazantseva, the police could not explain to her the reason for the detention. At first she was informed that they was detained "as a conscript", then they explained that "because of the referendums", but in general, as she says, the police themselves did not understand why she was detained and what to do with her.

On June 12, Kazantsev was also detained in the subway, brought to the police department and released, taking from her a receipt that she "conducted an explanatory conversation that people with administrative detentions in the past should not go to the subway on Russia's Day."

In the subway, the municipal deputy from the Communist Party Pavel Ivanov was detained. He was handcuffed in the police department. Around the same time, another activist of the Communist Party, Alexander Lyskov, was detained.

A little later, the journalist Ekaterina Maksimova was detained in the subway. This is its fifth detention on the person recognition system, starting in May.

At the Trubnaya metro station, they detained and taken to the police of a minor teenager, his friend announced this.

Toward the evening, the candidate from the Platform "Nomination" Nikolai Zeorov, Moskgorduma deputy Nikolai Zubrilin, ex-candidate to municipal deputies Lev Rudyak and several more people were detained in the subway. Most of them were released from the police with warnings, some removed fingerprints. The detention continues.

On September 30, a rally-concert “Choosing people. Together” was held in Moscow, dedicated to Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territories. According to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of spectators was about 180 thousand people. The concert was performed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Presumably, the detention of people who, one way or another, who had previously fallen into the field of view of law enforcement agencies, could be of a preventive nature.

• On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed agreements on the entry into Russia of the so -called "DPR" and "LPR", as well as the Kherson and part of the Zaporizhzhya regions of Ukraine. The European Union, the United States and the majority of the countries of the world said that they did not recognize the quasi -referendums or the act of accession either in these territories legitimate.
