23 girls were detained in Yakutsk. The reason was a failed action against mobilization

In Yakutsk, 23 girls were detained because of the action against mobilization, which did not take place. This was reported by the Free Yakutia Foundation.

Local women, like a week ago, planned to gather in the city square to hold a traditional Yakut round dance, but they did not succeed due to the actions of local authorities.

Free Yakutia notes that the local authorities “acted according to the manuals from Moscow”, and “arranged a whole circus tent”: they blocked the main squares of the city with the help of heavy equipment, forced students of educational institutions to “imitate a pro-government procession”, and also called only “police personnel from all nearby uluses”, but also the Russian Guard from Moscow.

“The security forces and security forces in black filled literally the entire city, even in distant areas, such as the square near the Mother’s Monument in Saisar,” Free Yakutia notes.

Girls who did not take part in any actions were "detained from bus stops, from the streets, from pharmacies." All the detainees, except for one girl, were released. Whether protocols were drawn up against them is not known.

On September 25, a women's rally was held in Yakutsk against the mobilization of men for the war in Ukraine. The police dispersed the action, and the authorities of the region said that it was "in support of the mobilized."

After the action, the governor of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, instructed to deal with cases of mobilization of citizens who do not fit the criteria for "partial" mobilization. Soon, several dozen men were returned to Yakutia, explaining that they were mobilized illegally.
