Elon Musk suggested how the war in Ukraine will end: Crimea will remain Russian, and new referendums will be held in the occupied territories

Businessman Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, speculated on his Twitter on what terms peace could be concluded between Russia and Ukraine.

Musk identified four main parameters for a possible truce.

• A new vote in the occupied regions of Ukraine under the supervision of the UN: "Russia leaves them if this is the choice of the inhabitants."
• Crimea "formally" remains part of Russia, as it has been since 1783 ("Before Khrushchev's mistake," Musk wrote).
• Water supplies to the Crimea are guaranteed.
• Ukraine remains a neutral state.

In a replay to the post, Musk suggested that he thought this was the "most likely" scenario. He also invited his followers to support or reject him. At the time of writing Meduza's news, more than 200 thousand people took part in the survey, 54.5% of them voted "yes".

Shortly after the publication, Musk complained about the "powerful bot attack."
