The combined wealth of the richest Russians has decreased by $94 billion since the beginning of 2022. Such data is provided by the TASS agency, which studied the changes in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index , which tracks the fortunes of the 500 richest people in the world. A month ago, these losses were estimated at only 54 billion.
Most of all, in absolute terms, Alexey Mordashov lost (lost 9.8 billion; now his fortune is estimated at 19.1 billion), Gennady Timchenko (minus 9.7 billion; now - 12.8 billion) and Vladimir Lisin (minus 9.1 billion ; now - 18.9 billion). In percentage terms, Viktor Vekselberg turned out to be the leader in terms of losses - his fortune decreased by more than 60% to 11.2 billion.
Roman Abramovich, who is often cited as an intermediary in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, lost almost half of his fortune - it decreased by 8.3 billion dollars and is now estimated at 9.7 billion.
As of now, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index includes 27 Russians.
