The Ukrainian military liberated eight more settlements in the Kherson region occupied by Russian troops. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message following the results of the 223rd day of the war.
“The settlements of Lyubimovka, Kreshchenovka, Zolotaya Balka, Belyaevka, Ukrainka, Bolshaya and Malaya Aleksandrovka and Davydov Brod have been liberated from the occupier and stabilized. And this is far from a complete list. Our warriors do not stop. And it is only a matter of time before we drive out the occupier from all our land,” the President said.
In addition to settlements in the Kherson region, cities and villages in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions were exempted from the “Russian pseudo-referendum” this week, Zelensky said. According to him, we are talking about dozens of liberated settlements.
The President also said that the Ukrainian army continues to “quickly and powerfully” advance in the south of the country.
