In the Pskov region, mobile military commissariats were deployed on the borders with Estonia and Latvia, the regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov reports . Against the background of reports of the annexation of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, long lines of refugees, mainly Ukrainian, who are trying to leave Russia, formed there.
According to Vedernikov, on the borders "the influx of people is very large." Among those who leave, there are many citizens of Ukraine, but there are also "citizens of Russia of draft age."
"The situation is not easy. Among those who leave, there are many citizens of Ukraine. The stream is large, people are different: there are those who are trying to take out the currency in excess of the norms established by law, objects of antiquity, art, prohibited goods," Vedernikov wrote.
The governor added that he instructed to put there heating and protection points there, as well as "organize an exit trading of first necessities."
The first reports of huge lines of refugees on the border in the Pskov region began to appear on social networks and the media on September 26.
