The Kiev District Court of Simferopol extended until January 10, 2023 the preventive measure for six Crimean Tatars in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case. This was reported by Krym.Realii.
The court extended house arrest for Seityaga Abbozov, and extended the term of detention in pre-trial detention center for Vilen Temeryanov, Enver Krosh, Murat Mustafayev, Edem Bekirov and Renat Aliyev until January 10.
It also became known that Krosh was placed in the Crimean Republican Psychiatric Hospital No. 1 named after N.I. Balaban at the request of the FSB for a psychiatric examination.
The criminal case against six Crimean Tatars became known on August 11. Security forces conducted searches in the homes of activists in connection with a criminal case brought against them for organizing or participating in the activities of a terrorist organization (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).
At the same time, according to the publication "Grati", torture was used against Krosh - this happened during an escort from the north of Crimea to Simferopol
On October 20, the Supreme Court of Crimea approved the extension of the arrest of Enver Krosh, Edem Bekirov and Renat Aliyev. This was reported by Crimean Solidarity with reference to lawyer Emil Kurbedinov. Now they are all in a psychoneurological clinic to undergo a forensic examination.
