The Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the village of Grekovka in the Lugansk region

The head of the regional administration, Serhiy Gaidai, published a photo of the Ukrainian Armed Forces next to a sign at the entrance to Grekovka in the Luhansk region. This photo was published on October 5, but the information about the release of this settlement was not officially confirmed.

Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region are conducting an offensive, including in the direction of the city of Kremennaya, which is located about 40 kilometers from Grekovka. According to Gaidai, Russian troops are preparing for a long-term defense of the city: they are actively mining the territory and pulling up reserves, units that have left Liman have appeared there.

At this time, the occupation authorities of the self-proclaimed DPR reported that the Russian military occupied the settlements of Otradovka and Veselaya Dolina in the Donetsk region.
