17 students who refused to participate in a pro-government rally were expelled from a university in Chechnya

17 students were expelled from the Russian Islamic University named after Kunta-Khadzhi in Chechnya, who refused to participate in a rally in support of "referendums" on joining the territories of Ukraine to Russia. This is reported by the telegram channel 1ADAT.

In the order, which is at the disposal of 1ADAT, the reason for expulsion is "violation of the rules of the internal regulations of students."

Since October 5, nine students of the preparatory department and eight students of the Faculty of Sharia Sciences have been expelled from the university.

The pro-government rally, which young people refused to attend, took place on 23 September.

• "Referendums" on the entry of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as the so-called DPR and LPR, into Russia were held from September 23 to 27. As a result, these regions were annexed to the Russian Federation. Human rights activists and the media reported on falsifications.
