Pskov: Journalist Kamalyagin was fined under the article on the "discredit" of the army

The court in Pskov was fined by the editor -in -chief of the Pskov Province of the Pskov Province of Denis Kamalyagin for 35 thousand rubles under an administrative article on the "discredit" of the army. This was reported by the press service of regional courts.

The protocol on Denis Kamalyagin was drawn up at the end of September 2022. In the commentary of the North. Realiy, he said that the basis for initiating an administrative case could serve as posts in his telegram channel.

The press service of the courts does not say that it was the reason for initiating the case, it is only indicated that Kamalyagin "committed public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation."

Denis Kamalyagin was recognized as an “foreigner” in December 2021. He was among the first five citizens of Russia who received this status.

In June 2022, the court fined Kamalyagin for 10 thousand rubles for the lack of a “foreign agent” marking in his posts in the telegram channel. The court charged him with eight posts: they concerned the federal and regional policy and war of Russia in Ukraine.
