Petersburger Sergei Polushkin , who served in the army 14 years ago, was transferred through his wife, who was called the doorbell of the housing and communal services. Polushkin went to the military enlistment office of the Frunze district, "clarification of mobilization data", as was written in the piece of paper transferred to him. But there they did not "clarify" anything. Without a medical examination, he was immediately handed a summons under the painting and the next day was taken to the training unit in the village of Vobatninskoye, determining the junior specialists of the MTO Academy (St. Petersburg Military Academy of Material and Technical Support named after Khrulev.-SR). Sergey’s houses remained a wife and a sick child who has a pathology of the kidneys.

“He has no combat experience, but this, as I understand it, does not really play a role, because everything is in words,” says Sergey Daria's sister. - The brother has acquired diseases over the years, including cordial. Now his legs and arms are swollen. He went to the medical unit and complained about his condition, but they said that they had no places. My wife and I came to him on Sunday, and this is a terrible sight: our legs were so swollen so that they did not fit into the boots. He is lame when he walks, and they are forced to run and jump there. He, in fact, in addition to heart problems, also allergies, but nothing, unfortunately, was documented, because he does not like to walk around the doctors.

Sergey works in the logistics company "Business Lines". There is a family for his earnings. According to Daria, together with Sergey, a huge number of people who have health problems are in the school unit in Vobelinsk. Including those who initially had serious diseases. Now relatives are trying to return them home, but they can’t do anything. Someone managed to rescue, but, according to her, there are few such cases.

- Doctors tell me that the causes of these edema can be different: the heart, and the kidneys, and the vascular system, and anything. Six years ago, he went through a commission to get a job, and even then he had some kind of noise in his heart and problems with heart ventricles. I am now writing to all instances where it is possible, but I do not have the necessary medical documents, unfortunately. Therefore, most likely, just unsubscribes will come. When he served, he had a category in a military ticket, but it is clear that health has changed very much during this time.

With his wife, Sergei Polushkin lives in a civil marriage. Legally younger sister, who is 21 years old, is his only relative. Sergey’s father did not become a year ago, mother died of cancer in 2012. Now Daria is actually alone (his wife takes most of the time for a child) is desperately trying to return his brother home and save from the "special operation". Sergei himself does not want to go to any war either.

- His edema has already gone higher, even his hands begin to swell, the ring in his finger was pressed. But he is forced to train with pain. Because if they are not sent back now, but they will send there, it’s scary to go completely unprepared. And no one can help, no one! The military prosecutor’s office does not react at all, I wrote there. I went to the administration of the Frunze district. They began to assure them there that they were ready to do anything, and asked what help I needed. And I say that I am not. I need my brother, alive. I am now the only one who can save him.

Elena Popova, the coordinator of the movement of conscious refuseniks from military service, says that the procedure for a medical examination during mobilization is the basic thing, and its absence is a direct violation, which today can massively observe during the work of military registration and enlistment offices with mobilized ones.

“In practice, we are now faced with the fact that no medical examination is happening,” Popova explains. -There is no military medical commission. No doctors, no heads and administration employees. They are simply replaced by a military commissar. Of those mobilized with whom we talked, no one has ever said that there was a real VVK, where it would be clear that here is the chairman of the draft commission, here is a doctor of such and such, etc. Over the years of the time of military service - and many have ten years or more - the state of health could change dramatically. And this is completely not taken into account. Usually everything looks like this. A person comes to the military registration and enlistment office, and there some employees run with pieces of paper. Then they give him a summons or immediately sent to the training part.

To avoid such a situation, it is first of all that it is necessary to draw up a power of attorney for someone from loved ones, making it his official representative, and not to go to the military enlistment office himself, Popova believes. But if a person is still in a military unit, he can also help him, he is not doomed. But since he is most likely confused, oppressed by what is happening and does not understand what to do, you need to immediately write all the necessary statements and complaints on his behalf and inform him about it, an algorithm of actions in a similar situation has already been developed.

- Before the visit to the unit, you need to write instructions for a person on a piece of paper: what rights he has, how to talk with military authorities. Because he has shock and stress, ”Popova explains. - Most are absolutely dutifully doing what they say to them, without claiming their rights.

"He cannot straighten his back"

The 46-year-old Petersburger Dmitry Nechaev is now trying to return his wife Julia home. He served on a contract in a submarine, but quit in 2000. Now he is at the collection point for the mobilized in the village of Vobatninskoye and, according to his wife, he practically cannot walk because of problems with protrusions and hernias.

“No VVK ( Military Medical Commission.-SR ), when it was taken away, was not at all, and they did not make changes to the health group,” says Julia. - He had problems back in June. Computed tomography then showed protrusion and hernia of the shomorle. He passed two courses of droppers and a course of acupuncture, but this helps just a few weeks. Then the pains return again. In March of this year, he was still operated on the cataract. On September 24, he was taken to this training center, and five days later he had severe pains in the lumbar region returned from the loads, pains in his legs appeared, the gyronic muscles began to go numb. Any body movement and walking are hardly given, not to mention training. The person is actually fell. He was dragged right from the training in his arms, they put him in a medical unit for three days, and then they sent to the company, they said that there were few places. He needs urgent treatment now, and maybe the operation, if the hernia crawled out.

At the medical unit, Dmitry was promised to be sent to the VVK so that the neurologist examined him there, but when there will be a medical board, no one says. There are no places in the medical unit, because she, according to Yulia Nechaeva, "scored by the guys who came from there." Julia hopes that the wife is commissioned, but she does not have the belief that this will happen.

- He is now just lying there at the collection point and that's it. There are no places in the medical unit, he cannot participate in training, and the commission is not appointed, ”Julia continues the story. - How much he flies there is a big question, and the pain does not stop. He is not able to straighten his back normally. I do not know what they plan to do, treat him and take it or let go to a citizen, so that we ourselves solve his back problems, continue the treatment that he began in July.

Julia herself, of course, does not want her husband to go to war. Like Sergey Polushkin, no one handed the summons to Dmitry Nechaev and did not even pass it through relatives. A piece of paper with exactly the same requirement to appear "to clarify data" was simply thrown into the mailbox. As an employee of Lenenergo, Dmitry was supposed to be a reservation, but, according to his wife, he refused to get her younger colleagues.

“They will not drag him on a stretcher on the border, in the end,” says Dmitry's wife. - Although, if they just need cannon meat, then, of course, they cope with this task. And if you need guys who can cover the rear, then no. It is not suitable for health reasons. He can die himself, and others will die because of him.

We beg the whole family

The mother of the 22-year-old Petersburger George ( relatives asked not to name the name.-SR ) Tatyana does not know how to return her son and convince him that not to go to this war is not ashamed.

“We beg him with the whole family, and I, and my sister and grandmother, so that he would write a refusal to convinces of conscience, but they are constantly processing them there,” says Tatyana, constantly breaking into tears. “They tell him how well he is and how brave he is.” That all his colleagues hid, but he did not. Constantly exert such pressure! And he does not want to write a refusal yet. And these boys are constantly brought from there, "two hundredth" (killed) and "three hundredth" (wounded). I can’t think about it just! After all, he served, he probably saw what kind of war it was, he understands everything. But he is 22 years old, he has a youthful maximalism yet! I remember myself well at this age, the sea knee -deep. With his father, we are divorced, maybe even if he tells his son. He participated in the Chechen war.

From the army, George mobilized at the end of May 2022 and managed to stay only a few months on a civilian. On September 24, he was awarded the agenda at work with the same requirement to clarify the mobilization data. And when he came to the military registration and enlistment office, they immediately issued a summons for mobilization with an order to appear at the military registration and enlistment office by 9 am on October 3. Five hours later, all those who arrived were put on a bus and taken to Pskov.

- When he still served and this “special operation” began, he was offered a contract to sign, they promised the money, but we told him not to sign anything, and he did not sign. Then he came home and got a job at the port of the sea to work. And now this is ... We will go to him next weekend and will convince him again, says Tatyana.

Elena Popova had to hear from their relatives more than once in military units on mobilized.

- Yes, they are indeed zombie and intimidated. Mothers and wives told me that after staying in part for some time it is noticeable that they are already talking differently, that they have become different, ”says Popova. -And it is better to write exactly the same text-instruction with arguments about why you do not need to go to this war. It will be very difficult to convince him there orally during a date, since people, as I said, have shock and stress. But to convince is the main thing. To convince that a person has the right not to kill and not be killed himself. Well, in addition, you need to tune in to non -violent, of course, but a fairly difficult struggle with the military registration and enlistment office and the military unit. It is absolutely real to win in it.

Since the announcement of mobilization, the number of appeals from relatives, according to Elena Popova, has increased significantly. The number of subscribers of the telegram channel of conscious refuseniks from military service increased from three to thirty thousand people. And Elena herself had already received several calls with threats and condemnation of her activities.

The publication of “important stories” and the Conflict Intelligence Team project conducted their own research on the basis of the analysis of the data obtained during the monitoring of 53 Russian regions, came to the conclusion that about 213 thousand people were called up for the so -called partial mobilization for war in Ukraine. This figure corresponds to the data voiced by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, who announced the mobilization of more than 200 thousand Russians. Journalists say that the most mobilization has touched the poorest regions of Russia.

In the media and social networks, information appeared about cases of suicide and the death of mobilized in military units .
