A Defense Ministry warehouse caught fire near Yaroslavl

In the village of Burmakino, Yaroslavl region, a Ministry of Defense warehouse caught fire. This is reported by 76.ru with reference to the head of the Nekrasovsky district of the region, Pavel Kulakov.

The fire occurred at the 6th Arsenal of the Navy enterprise of the Ministry of Defense.

“The signal about the incident came at the beginning of ten. The fire is now being extinguished. There is no longer any open fire. The roof is being shed. The kindergarten and school located in the village were evacuated,” Kulakov said.

The Department of the Investigative Committee for the Yaroslavl region began a pre-investigation check of the incident. According to the department, a 33-year-old worker died during the fire and two other people were injured. The Investigative Committee writes that the fire occurred “at one of the enterprises,” without specifying which one.
