A Crimean Tatar pensioner was fined 61 thousand rubles due to posts on Facebook.

Because of the publication in which Russia is called “a country created not for life, but for death” and states that the country “must finally die in order to stop the death of innocent people around the world”, Chapukh was fined 30 thousand rubles for article on discrediting the army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The woman was fined another 30 thousand rubles under the article on disrespect for the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of two publications. One of them showed Vladimir Putin in front of a portrait of Adolf Hitler with the inscription: "We must say this out loud: Russia is a fascist state." Another contains the question: “Ukrainians! Putin is a dick?"

Finally, Chapukh was fined one thousand rubles because of the publication with the symbols of the Azov Battalion (Part 1, Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The publications were made on the page under the name "Ivan Petrov". Asiya Chapuh told Center E officers who searched the family's home that she was the author.

• Four Crimean Tatars - Bekir Degermendzhi, Asan Chapukh, Kazim Ametov and Ruslan Trubach - were detained by the FSB in Simferopol on November 23, 2017. • In November 2017, the defendants in the case were sent to a pre-trial detention center. In October 2018, Chapukh was released from the pre-trial detention center under house arrest due to his health condition. On April 17, 2019, the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol sentenced Chapukh to a three and a half year suspended sentence with a probationary period of 3 years. Other defendants also received suspended sentences.
