In Belgorod, the airport was allegedly shelled. Authorities reported casualties

At about 11 am Moscow time, reports began to arrive about a new shelling of Belgorod. Eyewitnesses reported air defenses and the sounds of at least 16 explosions. According to local residents, several rockets fell near the airport.

In videos circulating online, traces of anti-aircraft missile launches and explosions in a fenced area similar to an airport are visible in the sky.

The governor of the Belgorod region in his telegram channel confirmed the fact of the shelling, but did not specify which objects were attacked.

“As a result of the shelling in Belgorod, three people were injured in one family. Two men with shrapnel wounds. They have already been sent to the hospital. The woman received outpatient care on the spot. <...> There is minor damage to houses, fences and cars. Operational services are working on the spot, ”the governor wrote.

Information spread on pro-Kremlin telegram channels that Belgorod was fired upon by American air-launched HARM anti-radar missiles. Propagandists have already called for massive strikes against airfields where Ukrainian combat aircraft capable of carrying such weapons are stationed.
