In Moscow, a picketer with a poster was detained in support of the convicted activist near Moscow

Mikhail Suslin was detained near the building of the Historical Museum in Moscow, who stood in a single picket with a poster “Evgeny Kurakin is not guilty !!! Rehabilitation!". He himself informed the OVD-Info about this.

21:00 Mikhail Suslin was released from the ATS without a protocol.

He informed the OVD-Info that he was detained by employees of the 2nd special regiment of the police police of Moscow, who forbade the young man to use his personal phone and demanded to issue a protocol on a repeated violation of the rally (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The ATS officers refused to draw up a protocol, saying that he did not violate the legislation on rallies, and limited themselves to taking the explanation.

On March 4, 2022, the activist and journalist Yevgeny Kurakinwere sentenced to three years on charges of accusing fraud on an especially large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). Almost all times were released without drawing up any protocol, except for the picket on August 13, for which it was fined 10 thousand rubles.
