On the morning of September 21, Putin announced mobilization, and on the same day the first reports of calls appeared. In Buryatia, the summons were presented at night from the 21st to the 22nd, the first reservists were already sent to military training.
Despite all the promises of politicians , we see that people are called up as steady: the summons come to students, older people and people without combat experience. In Buryatia, they tried to give the agenda to the father of five minor children, but so far he refuses to sign it. The agenda was also sent to the name of a man who died two years ago.
We do not know how and how rapidly the situation will develop, so we recommend that you leave as soon as possible if you planned to leave.

We advise you to move to another region, but if it is not possible, remove temporary housing at least in your or in the next city.
This is especially true for those who are now living in the Republics of Sakha and Buryatia - in these regions they are already forcibly recruiting conscripts. We assume that this also applies to other republics in Russia.
If you live in the regions bordering Ukraine, leave to other regions until you have been closed from the regions. For example, in Kursk, a military commissar has already said that residents of the region in reserve are prohibited from leaving the region without the permission of the military commissariat. How this ban acts in practice is still unknown.
When you were convinced that you have housing for the coming days and you are far from the place of registration, choose where you can go the fastest.
Since Belarus is now influenced by Russia and Russian troops are based there, we believe that you should not linger in this country for a long time if you are saved from mobilization. It is better to choose other countries as transshipment points, but if you can only go to Belarus quickly, it is best after that to fly out of Minsk to any country available with your package of documents.
We do not advise going to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, because Russian mobilization can affect these territories, and you will not be able to leave there anywhere.
There are more distant countries with a visa-free regime, but tickets for the coming days cost 60-100 thousand or more. So far, flights to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are relatively available, for example, a flight from Moscow costs about 15-25 thousand.
At the moment, there are no accessible air tickets from Russia. Due to high demand, prices for the remaining September tickets range around 20-80 thousand and more depending on your location and country for potential flight.
Almost all the remaining tickets suggest several transfers. We advise using other transport (trains, personal transport, car sharing, taxi or driving.rf and BlablaCar ) to get to the nearest border instead of flying on a plane for two days with three transfers.
From available countries, choose those that are closest to your region. If there are no boundaries near your region, pay attention to the air travel inside the country.
For example, from some cities you can get by plane to Omsk, Astrakhan, Samara or Saratov and then go to Kazakhstan by train or car.
We talk about Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, protests and repression. We believe that now, when dozens of media have closed or ceased to cover the war, access to independent information is more important than ever.
You can still fly to Vladikavkaz. For example, tickets from Moscow are held within the framework of four thousand rubles, and in another three to four thousand you can get to Tbilisi by bus or via BlablaCar. In addition to Vladikavkaz, convenient cities: Nalchik, Minvodes, Makhachkala, Stavropol. Tickets there are not so actively disassembled, from these cities it is quite easy to get to the border with Georgia.
Most likely, you will have to spend several days in Belarus due to a large flow of leaving.
For example, flights from Minsk to Tbilisi or Yerevan for the coming days are either sold out or more than one hundred thousand. At the end of September, you can fly to Yerevan for 30-40 thousand, tickets at the beginning of October are 15-20 thousand. Flights in Tbilisi are even more expensive.
Just in case, we advise you not to attract special attention of official structures in Belarus, especially if you openly declared your anti -war position in Russia. Already on September 22, the first messages appeared in Belarus that the local security forces were verbally ordered to follow the Russians who are hiding from mobilization. The operatives supposedly should observe the apartments that rent for rent, and track cars with Russian numbers. Deutsche Welle Belarus wrote that at the Minsk airport, the police began to check men with Russian passports.
So far, there are no reports that at some kind of checkpoints of men and women who are in stock are not released from Russia. On many land borders on the afternoon of September 22 there were already many hours of traffic jams.
To cross the main border crossings, such as Samar-Uralsk, as quickly as possible, some leave cars and walk with suitcases, then buy local SIM cards at the border and call a taxi. So you can cope in an hour or one and a half.
Prepare for a survey on the border, come up with a legend, rehearse it and in no case tell you on any border that you are running from mobilization.
So far, we see that on the Russian side they interrogate at the borders, but still miss men of the first category under the age of 35, who served in the army or studied at military departments.
The situation is changing very quickly, so we advise you to monitor the situation on the border that interests you through telegram channels or twitter, there the information is published mostly.
