The court refused a mobile Petersburger in the AGS

The Nevsky District Court rejected the lawsuit of the mobilized Petersburger Kirill Berezin, who refuses to pick up weapons and demands to provide him with the opportunity to undergo alternative civil service. This was reported by the correspondent of "Paper" .

Berezina’s lawyer said that his client was sent to the military unit in the Belgorod region without a medical examination and checking a delay. In the lawsuit, Berezin demanded to recognize the decision of the military registration and enlistment office illegal on the basis that military service contradicts his beliefs, and that he was not allowed to undergo a physical examination at the military commissariat.

The defendant said that allegedly during a call on mobilization, a medical examination is not provided for in the form in which it is carried out when submitted for military service. He claims that a mobilized medical examination is relied only on checking the presence of obvious infectious diseases and only if the conscript announced health problems at the military commissariat.

Berezina’s friend, representing him in court,, according to Cyril, said that he spoke in the military enlistment office and about health problems, and about the desire to go through the AGS. The defendant in court stated that the presence of the right to the AGS is not the basis for exemption from mobilization.

The lawyer demanded to save Berezin "from the torment, which he now receives in the military unit." “According to his beliefs, Berezin cannot take the machine gun and kill a person,” the lawyer said. “The army is taught not to kill, but to defend their homeland,” the defendant said to this.

Verdict. The court refused the lawsuit. Berezin’s lawyer told Paper that he would appeal the court decision.
