The poet and translator Mikhail Eremin died

In St. Petersburg, at the 87th year of his life, the poet and translator Mikhail Yerein died. This was written in his telegram channel literary critic and publicist Nikolai Podosokorsky.

Eremin was born on May 1, 1936 in the city of Ordzhonikidze (now Vladikavkaz) at an early age he moved to Leningrad, where he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the State University.

Later, having joined the Union of Writers of the USSR, Yeremin gained fame as a children's writer and playwright, at the same time he was a member of one of the first Leningrad groups of non -certificate poetry, which was the unofficial name "Philology School". In addition to Eremin, the group included poets Vladimir Ufland, Leonid Vinogradov, Sergey Kulle and Lev Lifshits.

The “philological” poems of Yeremin in the form of the eight -play have been published since 1960 in the Samizdat magazines Syntax, Clock and Mitin magazine, etc. His work was highly appreciated by Joseph Brodsky.
