Novgorod: a mother -in -law was fined for "justification of terrorism"

The Western District Military Court found guilty of "justification of terrorism and extremism" many children's mother Irina Dmitriev (maiden name Nelson). The court appointed a fine of 300 thousand rubles, the correspondent of the North Reali reports.

The reason for initiating a criminal case was comments condemning the military operations of Russia in Ukraine.

- The meeting lasted about seven hours. I explained my motivation to the court by the fact that I am against the current government and I want to live in a free country with a replaced president, that now neither I nor my children have no future. It is clear that they had to give some punishment formally. Honestly, I am very glad that they gave such a minimum, ”said Irina.

Dmitriev will not appeal the verdict, as he does not see the prospects in the appeal, and is going to announce the fundraising for a fine.

• Irina Dmitrieva lives in the village of the New village of the Parfinsky district of the Novgorod region. Previously, she worked as a lawyer remotely. Irina has four children, the eldest son is 14 years old. In recent years, a woman went on single pickets in the district center - the village of Parfino. For a picket in support of Alexei Navalny in January 2021, mandatory work was assigned to her. In the summer of 2022, she was included in the "List of terrorists and extremists" of Rosfinmonitoring, due to which the Novgorod was blocked.
