The proposed daughter of Sergei Shoigu can deprive Lithuanian citizenship

The Lithuanian Migration Department began an investigation into the double citizenship of businessman Adolfos Kaminskas, the husband of the alleged mother of illegitimate children of the Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu Elena Kaminskas. This was reported by Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT).

According to the press secretary of the department of Rokas Pukinskas, the businessman did not submit to the Department of Migration the news of dual citizenship within six months, as required by local legislation. If it turns out that after receiving Russian citizenship, Kaminskas retained Lithuania illegally, then the businessman and his children, including adopted after marriage to Elena Kaminskas, will deprive him.

Pukinskas noted that the investigation of The Insider and Siena/OCCRP and LRT was the basis for verification. The first states that after marriage with Elena Adolfos, Kaminskas sharply increased his capital. In the second - that the alleged illegitimate daughter of Shoigu Daria received Lithuanian citizenship in 2019.

49-year-old Elena Kaminskas (in the girlishness of Shebunov)-a former flight attendant of the flight detachment of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Shoigu headed it for 21 years. In 2006, the Boulevard Express Gazeta wrote about her common son with the Russian Minister, and in 2019-the Russian edition of The Insider. A boy named Danil with patronymic Sergeevich was born in 2001, and in 2008, the media say, Shebunova gave birth to a daughter Daria Sergeevna.

According to LRT, in 2017 Shebunova received a residence permit in Lithuania. Not later than 2019, the publication claims, she married a citizen of Lithuania Adolfas Kaminskas and took his last name. He officially adopted Daria, after which she received Lithuanian citizenship.

Adolfas Kaminskas after marriage to Shebunova, but no later than the spring of 2022, received Russian citizenship. After the marriage, he became the beneficiary of several Lithuanian enterprises, mostly developers who own assets worth about 20 million euros in Vilnius, writes The Insider.

• In the official biography of Shoiga, his children from Shebunova are not mentioned, he has been married to the first marriage since 1977 in Irina Shoigu (Antipina), they have two children.
