Mishustin dismissed the Deputy Minister of Transport - according to RBC, due to the explosion on the Crimean Bridge

Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Alexander Sukhanov dismissed. The order of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin says that the official himself asked to be relieved of his post.

Sukhanov's resignation was announced by RBC on October 20. According to sources of the publication, the reason for the dismissal of Sukhanov was the explosion on the Crimean bridge that occurred on October 8. In his post, Sukhanov supervised the work of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Department of Departmental Security of the Ministry of Transport and was responsible for transport security, including the Crimean bridge.

• On October 8, a truck exploded on the Crimean bridge, after which fuel tanks caught fire on the railway part of the bridge. Two car flights were damaged, according to official figures, four people were killed. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article on the terrorist attack, and the special services of Ukraine were accused of preparing it. After the explosion on the Crimean bridge, the President of the Russian Federation transferred the authority to guard the bridge to the FSB. Prior to that, the Russian Guard was engaged in its protection.
